Frederick Schmitt

Managing Director

Mr. Schmitt, a Managing Director of Sage, joined the firm in 2000. He advises clients on a variety of corporate finance activities, including a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, capital raise transactions and restructurings. While at Sage, Mr. Schmitt has completed transactions across a wide spectrum of industries. Presently, Mr. Schmitt focuses primarily on the specialty retail and apparel sectors, and co-heads Sage’s Retail and Apparel Group. Prior to Sage, he was in the Media and Entertainment Group of ING Barings Corporate Finance in New York. Mr. Schmitt earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University, where he double-majored in Finance and Economics.
