Mark Vidergauz

Mr. Vidergauz is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sage. He is also a co-head of the firm’s Retail and Apparel Group. At Sage, Mr. Vidergauz advises private and public companies on a wide range of corporate finance transactions across different industries. Prior to the formation of Sage, he was a Managing Director at ING Barings and headed the firm’s West Coast investment banking activities. Additionally, Mr. Vidergauz practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers and was also a Director at Barclays Merchant Bank in Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. Vidergauz is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association. He received B.A. and L.L.B. degrees, as well as degrees in tax and business administration, from the University of Witwaterstrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and an L.L.M. degree from the London School of Economics. He currently serves on the boards of Sage and Monster Beverage Corporation.
